If you’ve ever felt frustrated with an oily scalp but dry, frizzy ends… trust me, I’ve been there too. For years, I didn’t understand why my hair behaved this way. My scalp would get oily and itchy so fast, but the rest of my hair felt rough and dry. It got to a point where I just didn’t feel confident anymore, and I kept wondering what I was doing wrong.
Some tips helped a little, but nothing gave me the long-term results I wanted. I was still washing my hair every other day, still dealing with oiliness, still struggling with tangles, and still watching my natural waves disappear into a poofy mess.
But after a lot of trial and error, and honestly… a lot of frustration, I finally found a routine and a method that genuinely changed my hair. And it didn’t happen overnight. It took months of consistency, learning, and paying attention to what my scalp actually needed.
Slowly, things improved.
My scalp stopped getting oily so quickly.
I could finally go two to three days between washes.
My hair became less frizzy.
And the biggest surprise for me - my natural waves came back.
It was only when I looked back that I realised how far I’d come. That’s when I knew I wanted to put everything I learned into one guide. Something simple, clear, and practical. Because I’ve been in your shoes: scrolling through endless advice, feeling confused, and not knowing which steps actually matter.
I wrote Managing Oily Scalp and Dry Hair because I wanted a guide that doesn’t promise magic, but teaches what actually works. A guide that explains your hair in simple terms, shows you exactly how to build a routine, and helps you understand why your scalp behaves the way it does.
If you’re on this journey too, I hope my experience helps you feel less overwhelmed. There is a way to manage oily scalp and dry hair and it doesn’t require expensive products, complicated routines, or harsh treatments. It just needs the right knowledge, the right steps, and patience.
This blog series will walk you through the same journey I went through.
And if you want the full, detailed guide, everything is inside my e-book.
You deserve healthy, beautiful hair — and I’m here to help you get there.
